Come Spend The Holidays With Us!

Every year in mid-November, Art’s Nursery turns into an winter wonderland, transforming our gift shop area and courtyard into a beautiful Christmas market with lights, trees, decorations, and more. It’s truly a beautiful sight to see, no matter if you’re coming to Art’s to shop or just to simply relax by one of our many fires, we are so happy to have you be apart of our Christmas at Arts! The layout of our Christmas Market, it's quite fun. We have two main sections, one being indoor and one being outdoor. This is so, no matter if you're the person looking out the window or the person looking in on these cold December days, we have something for you.

In our indoor giftware section, located right beside the main entrance, you’ll discover many gifts, decorative pieces, and plants. Additionally, we offer a vast selection of seasonal decorations and stylish ornaments to fulfill all your holiday desires! This is where all our seasonal indoor plants thrive! With numerous options available, whether you’re seeking a poinsettia, amaryllis, or any other seasonal favorite, we have the perfect choice for you. Not to mention, it's also a wonderful place to warm up and hang out with our on-site friend, Mabel, the resident cat! Moving outside, you’ll encounter the second part of our Christmas market: our outdoor section! Situated in our seasonal houses, pavilion, and courtyard, you’ll find greens, Christmas trees, outdoor winter plants, and much more. Whether you know precisely what you want or need some guidance, our expert staff will be more than happy to share all their seasonal tips and tricks with you.

We offer numerous seasonal products here at Art’s Nursery to assist you in preparing for the holiday season. Whether you have a tree to decorate or are simply looking to enhance your home for the holidays, we have everything you need! Our aim is to make your holiday season as stress-free as possible, allowing you to spend more time relaxing and enjoying the company of your loved ones. Art’s Christmas market begins in mid-November and runs until December 24th.

Fresh-Cut and Live Christmas Trees

At Art’s, we offer a large assortment of Christmas trees, including both fresh-cut and potted varieties. This means you can choose between a traditional fresh-cut, ready-to-go Christmas tree or a potted one suitable for planting after the season ends. Among the most popular trees available during Christmas are the Douglas fir, Grand Fir, Fraser Fir, Noble fir, and occasionally Balsam fir. Each of these options is excellent, catering to various preferences and needs. Once you’ve selected your perfect tree, simply grab the white loop indicating the price and proceed to the cashier. After your purchase, our highly knowledgeable and qualified staff will shake out the tree, cut it for better water intake, and wrap it up. With your prepared tree, you’ll be all set to embark on a wonderful holiday season with your new addition!

We also provide a flocking service for our trees, greens, and select products in our seasonal house. This involves applying an eco-friendly mixture of powdery flocking powder to give these items a realistic, snow-covered appearance on the branches. For our flocked trees, we offer two primary options. You can opt for a pre-flocked tree, where we select and flock the trees beforehand, or choose a custom-flocked option, allowing you to personalize the amount of flocking according to your preferences. Our exceptional staff begins this process shortly after receiving our trees, usually around the third week of November, and continues until mid-December. Once you’ve chosen your perfect tree, our staff will assist you in preparing to take it home. Whether you prefer a fresh cut, live and potted, or flocked tree, we guarantee to have the ideal tree to brighten your holiday season.

Festive Indoor Plants and Florals

As the days grow shorter and the winter season settles in, there's no better way to bring warmth and cheer into your home than with festive indoor plants. Here at Art’s Nursery, our fantastic gift shop offers a wide selection of seasonal indoor plants perfect for brightening up your space or gifting to loved ones.

Our collection includes traditional holiday favorites like poinsettias, Christmas cacti, Norfolk pines, and more. These vibrant plants come in various colors and sizes, offering something for everyone’s taste. In addition to our seasonal selections, we carry a diverse range of year-round indoor plants, such as Calathea, Pathos, and Ferns, all located just inside our gift shop. These plants make thoughtful, lasting gifts for any occasion.

We also offer an exceptional variety of indoor bulbs, including Paperwhite narcissus, fragrant hyacinths, and stunning amaryllis. Whether you’re looking for a ready-to-display plant or enjoy the experience of watching them grow, our collection has something to suit your preferences.

Our festive indoor tropical plants begin arriving just after Remembrance Day and are restocked throughout the holiday season. With options like 

  • Poinsettia – Classic holiday plant known for its vibrant red, pink, or white bracts.
  • Christmas or Easter Cacti – Festive plants with colorful blooms in red, pink, or white.
  • Amaryllis – Produces large, striking flowers in bold colors like red, white, and pink.
  • Christmas Rose (Hellebore) – Winter-blooming plant with elegant white or pale pink flowers.
  • Paperwhites – Fragrant, white flowers perfect for indoor blooming.
  • Orchids – Exotic, long-lasting flowers in a variety of colors and sizes.

Fresh Garland, Wreaths, Boughs and Greens

Adorn your mantel, front door, or any section of your house with our wonderful greens, boughs, wreaths, and fresh garlands, perfect for any space. Incorporating fresh greens into our homes is an enduring holiday tradition that adds the perfect festive touch. You can find all our greens, wreaths, and garlands just outside our seasonal house. We offer a wide variety of fresh garlands, wreaths, boughs, and greens, crafted most commonly from cedar, pine, and fir. They are perfect for decorating both exterior and interior spaces.

Struggling to decide? Our wonderful team members would be delighted to assist you and share their seasonal tips and tricks. Additionally, we host various workshops where you can create your own garlands, wreaths, and green crafts. This way, you can personalize your creation with the guidance of our staff, who will be there every step of the way to assist you however you need.

These workshops are available on both Saturdays and Sundays, offered twice a day from mid-November until the end of our season. They're incredibly enjoyable and provide a wonderful time with friends, family, or even if you're attending alone. Hence, whatever creative ideas you have in mind, we have the supplies to bring them to life.

At Art's, workshops are at the heart of what we love to do! Each workshop is thoughtfully designed and taught by some of our absolute favorites, including John, Jordyn, Sheri, Suzanne, and Pam. Their passion and expertise make every session truly unforgettable.

Our team dedicates months to crafting and perfecting each design to ensure every detail is flawless. From brainstorming unique concepts to refining their creations, they pour their hearts into making every workshop a rewarding and inspiring experience. These sessions aren’t just about learning—they’re about creating memories, gaining new skills, and finding joy in the process.

We are absolutely thrilled to bring these workshops back and share our amazing lineup with you! Whether you’re a seasoned DIY enthusiast or trying something new, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Winter Planters 

The winter brings so much family and celebration into our lives but it always feels like something's missing. What may this be? Here at Art's, it is planting and creating gardens. It’s what our talented team dreams of and loves doing year after year. Fortunately for us though, we have just the solution to fight the feelings, winter potting and planters! Late fall and winter make a great time to spruce up your front door and make it ready for all the guests the season brings. Whether you have a pre-existing planter or want to put together something entirely new, we just have the things for it. From potting soils to greens, and all the little fixtures you could ever dream of.

With the season being so busy though, many of us don't have time to put together one of these planters, luckily, you've come to the right place! Art's offers a few different options on how to bring home one of our amazing porch pots. One is to purchase one of our amazing ready-to-go planters, one of our current favourites being "Randi the scandi" which comes in both a 10-inch and 12-inch fibre pot. There is always a vast selection available and ready for you to bring home or give out as a gift! As well as that, we also offer custom winter porch pots. No matter what you want your pot or planter to look like, we are here to help you bring it to life. Whether it’s colour preferences, different fixtures, flocking, or types of greenery, we’d love to help you! Besides the last two, the other option we offer is through our seasonal workshops. Our workshops host a wonderful and fun environment and are open to anyone each weekend in December!

Christmas Light Display

 

At Christmas, the highlight for many of us is the lights. They represent tradition, evoking the nostalgic feeling of being eight years old and eagerly waiting for Santa to come down the chimney. These lights hold immense significance for us, driving the need for a substantial supply. Each holiday season, our incredible staff dedicates a considerable amount of time to putting up and perfecting around 20,000 Christmas lights!

The lights are spread across our 10-acre property, illuminating it every night throughout the holiday season! These lights come in various colors and sizes, catering to different preferences—whether you prefer a warm white glow or a bright multi-colored display, it's all here! At Art's, these lights bring immense joy to our team, and we hope they'll do the same for you. With our extensive assortment, we can almost guarantee there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Art's is a fantastic place to stroll around and have fun during this festive season. Bring your favorite people, gather around one of our many fires, and relax with us this holiday season!
