Come Spend Your Fall With Us!
September 20th- October 31st
Our Art's Nursery Scarecrow Fest is a beloved annual event that runs from mid-September through Halloween each year! Now in its 11th year, the festival has become a community tradition that celebrates creativity and connection.
At the heart of the event are dozens of handcrafted scarecrows, ranging from classic designs to quirky characters! Alongside the scarecrows, guests can enjoy pop-up pumpkin patches, seasonal displays, and festive photo opportunities.
The festival grounds also feature a rotating lineup of food trucks and live music! Whether you're visiting for a quick bite or planning a full family day out, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
More than just a celebration, the Scarecrow Festival supports local charities, with proceeds going directly to causes that uplift the community. It’s a fun, meaningful way to embrace the season and make a positive impact.
Scarecrows, Scarecrows, & More Scarecrows
Every summer, our team gets to work designing and building over 80 unique scarecrows. Some are classic, some are silly or spooky, and others are just plain fun like Minecraft Steve, Snoopy, or even Waldo (if you look hard enough). It takes months of planning, creativity, and a whole lot of laughs behind the scenes, and seeing them finally come together is always a highlight of our year.
By the time fall rolls around, the entire nursery transforms. Scarecrows are tucked into every corner, turning the space into a playful, family-friendly destination. Whether you're coming with kids, friends, or just stopping by for a quiet stroll, there's something around every turn to make you smile.
While you’re here, don’t miss our scarecrow scavenger hunt! Grab a map and see how many you can spot. It’s a fun way to explore the displays, and a big hit with visitors of all ages.
Feeling inspired? You can take a little of the magic home with one of our Take & Make Scarecrow Kits. They’re a great weekend project and a chance to get creative with your own scarecrow masterpiece. Even better, every kit helps support local charities.
This is one of our favourite traditions here at Art’s Nursery. It’s full of imagination, community spirit, and a bit of seasonal silliness and we’d love for you to come be part of it.
The Charities We Are Supporting This year!
We take great pride in our commitment to giving back to the community. We wholeheartedly believe in the power of supporting those in need and making a positive impact on the world around us. That's why we have made it our mission to donate all proceeds from our festival to three incredible charities: At our annual Scarecrow Festival, we are deeply committed to giving back to our community. We believe in the power of support and making a positive impact on those around us. That's why we donate all proceeds from our festival to four incredible charities:
The Inclusion Langley Society | The Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (OWL) | St. Vincent de Paul Society | The Surrey Food Bank | The Inclusion Langley Society
The Inclusion Langley Society: We are excited to work with the Inclusion Langley Society again! They provide services that improve the quality of life for children with developmental or support needs and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Their work in building and strengthening the community through information, support, and advocacy is truly inspiring.
The Surrey Food Bank: This fall, we are thrilled to partner with the Surrey Food Bank for the first time! Many people rely on the food bank every day, and we are eager to support their essential work. We look forward to helping them continue their mission of providing food to those in need.
OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society: Their passion for wildlife conservation is reflected in their support of the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (OWL). By donating festival proceeds, they help OWL rescue and rehabilitate birds of prey while promoting vital public education on wildlife preservation.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul: The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul makes a meaningful impact by putting love of neighbour into action through community-based service. Their volunteers work locally, offering compassionate, justice-driven support to those who need it most.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back through our Scarecrow Festival. We invite our community to join us in supporting these remarkable charities. Together, we can create a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
