Refund and Return Policy

Plant Materials

 All plant materials are a final sale. These are the reasons:

There are occasions when Management may decide to wave this, please call a manager if the Customer is showing resistance to this policy. Management may also, at its discretion, charge a 25% re-stocking fee.

All Plant Product must be returned with the original receipt, undamaged, in their original pot/container, and with the original tags attached to be considered.

  • Plants are a disposable product and therefore have a shelf life and selling window
  • Once the plant is out of our care we can no longer offer it to other customers
  • There are quarantine zones in Greater Vancouver put in place by CFIA, i.e. – Japanese Beetle Zone. Plant materiel cannot be removed from these areas and we have no guarantee that the returned material hasn’t been there.
  • If a plant has been removed from the pot, planted, dug up and potted again it causes root shock and the plant will struggle to recover
  • A plant that has been planted in foreign soil and then brought back to the Nursery can introduce pathogens that could affect the rest of the Nursery.

Giftware/Hardgoods

There is a 30-day return policy for all Giftware/Hardgoods, including cement and containers.

All Product must be returned with the original receipt, undamaged, with the original tags attached, and in the original packaging.

If returned within 10 days the Customer will receive a full refund, if returned within 11-30 days the Customer will receive the full refund value on a Gift Card.

Seasonal Product

Seasonal product refers to items that are décor products related to a specific Holliday. i.e. – Christmas decorations.

All Seasonal Product is a FINAL SALE. The only exception would be an agreed upon 48hr allowance for seasonal home décor items that Customers need to see if it ‘works’ in their home.

All Seasonal Product must be returned undamaged, with a receipt with the allowance written on it ‘48hr’ and the cashier initial, the original tags attached, and in the original packaging.

Final Sale Item – No Exceptions

The following items are final sales, no exceptions:

  • Clearance and sale items
  • Turf
  • Bulk materials
  • Services
  • Pesticides (Government regulation)
  • Shipping and handling
  • Deliveries

Return Guidelines

  • Returns without receipt are subject to Management approval and are only eligible for in-store credit at the current retail selling price.
  • Authorized cash refunds may be issued using alternative tenders depending on Management discretion.
  • Refunds may not be processed immediately, we reserve the right to process the transaction through our office within 7 business days of the merchandise return.
  • After 10 days, returns will only be eligible for exchange or in-store credit at the discretion of Management
  • Credit and Debit refunds will only be issued to the identical card used to make the purchase. Failure to produce the correct card will limit the transactions to an in-store credit
  • Working merchandise must be in the original condition with all parts and packaging as it had when purchased
  • Defective merchandise is subject to the policies and procedures of the manufacturers warranty and the agreement we have with the vendor.
  • Shipping, handling and delivery charges are not refundable
  • All returns are subject to the discretion of management. Some restrictions apply.
