Warm Season Grasses

Warm season grasses focus their energy on establishing deep roots during their first and second year of life, and then growing during their second and third year. These grasses are best planted in late spring. Warm season grasses also tend to stay low during the cooler parts of summer, and wait till the heat of summer to put on their full height.
