Dogwood Trees belong to the genus Cornus and are a popular small to mid-sized specimen tree with masses of white, pink or red flowers in late spring followed by striking fall foliage on most varieties. Size depends on variety, but 15-30ft is common.
Flowering Dogwoods are best planted in full sun and cool, moist, acidic soils.
Excellent as a specimen tree or when planted in a group.
